APLS The Advanced Procurement & Logistics System (APLS) is an online database and information retrieval system and suite of integrated tools focused on enabling buying, selling and performing item research about aircraft parts, National Stock Numbers (NSN) and aerospace and defense spares and components. With the optional contract solicitation system it also adds the most comprehensive system available for matching and locating DoD contract solicitations in real-time.

To utilize APLS a subscriber is only required to have a part number, national stock number (NSN), national item identification number (NIIN) or military specification (mil-spec). APLS will respond with information about the item from the available 130,000,000+ records residing in the APLS databases.

Information returned to an APLS subscriber can contain: supplier inventory levels from hundreds of industry suppliers, original and secondary military supply sources, previous contract price history, interchangeable part numbers, national stock number (NSN) to part or mil-spec cross reference.

Along with inventory and reference information, APLS provides its users with the tools and technology to effectively use this information and to help enable their transactions.
